LANGUAGE

English is the official Conference language.

CURRENCY

The currency of Brazil is Real (R$).

Bank opening hours in Brazil are 10a.m. to 4p.m - Monday through Friday, except for holidays.

Currencies can be exchanged at banks or ATMs (automatic banking machines).

Credit cards are widely accepted.

BADGES

A name badge will be provided on site together with your congress kit. Badges must be visible and used at all times anywhere within the conference venue.

SPEAKER PREVIEW ROOM

A Speaker Preview Room is provided for all oral presentations at the ground floor just behind the Registration Desk.

Presentations must be in PowerPoint format only (MAC or PC) and saved on an USB key.
All presenters should load their files at least three hours before the scheduled presentation time.
An audio, video and basic running check of the presentation will be performed.

VISA REQUIREMENTS

If you need a VISA to enter Brazil, please apply in due time and contact the Embassy of Brazil in your country. For information, you can also visit the Ministry of Foreign Affairs website, http://www.portalconsular.itamaraty.gov.br/representacoes-do-brasil-no-mundo, and find your country.

If you need a letter to be sent to an Embassy, please request by email . You must have submitted your conference registration form prior to requesting a letter of invitation. Letter of invitation does not imply provision of financial or other support.

Information about validity of PASSPORT, VACCINES and VISAS that may be necessary for your trip should be consulted with the respective embassies or visa dispatchers.

SMOKING POLICY

All the meeting rooms at the venue are non-smoking. We remind you that smoking in Brazil is forbidden in all public areas, in places of collective use, public or private (Law 12.546, regulated in 2014).
